Where can I find a shelf for my refrigerator?

I HATE my KitchenAid side-by-side refrigerator because it needs another shelf on the refrigerator side. Does anyone know where I can buy one? I have emailed KitchenAid but have yet to hear back from them. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Put in your full model number off the label and you can find and select the shelf you want. But be aware that those cantilever shelves can be moved and swapped positions. So be careful to identify the correct shelf as it may not be in the same order as you now have them.

For example somebody may have moved the shelves and the one you want might be the third one down in the picture but is only the second one down where you now have it.

I have replaced literally hundreds of them. No big deal.

ps. Some models do come with looks like they are short a shelf. It depends on the particular model.

But you may already have another shelf! lol. If new, most times that I heard that complaint the problem was how they were arranged.

When they ship them new, and most people leave them that way, they will put the snack drawer on the bottom on top of the crisper. That makes it look like three drawers. But in reality that snack bin is on a separate shelf!

If that is your model you can pull out the snack bin, move that shelf up, like to the middle of the refrig. and you gain another shelf (the top of the upper crisper).

The only caution is that the supports for that crisper hold the weight of the crisper contents and what is on top so don’t load it real heavy in total. I have seen 20lbs of potatoes in the drawer and several gallon jugs on top (costco size) to total about 35 lbs and then they ask why the supports break.
