Does anyone know about Kitchenaid stand mixer?

I have a 4.5 quart stand mixer and want to get a 6 quart bowl for it….can i purchase it seperatley and will it work on my mixer? (yes, i have a kitchenaid)

No..I don’t believe it will.I have had both and the arms on the mixer and width of bowl are different in size on the 2 mixers.Thats why they make the two different size mixers along with the power and size of the motor.
