How to use my KitchenAid blender without messing it up? Please help !?

well I just bought a new blender from Kitchen Aid and it has buttons like crush ice, stir,mix, chop, liquify, and etc.
And I’d like to know what buttons I am supposed to push when making a smoothie that has like for example strawberries , crushed ice, pineapples, milk , yogurt and sugar in it, cause first I did crushed ice and then pushed the chop button and all the things got stuck and stopped moving, I think it was because there were too much hard stuff so I opened it and stirred it around to get it all even and added more milk and then it started working again. Is it possible for the blender to break if it gets stuck again?

Just wondering what I should do next time!

Kitchen Aid is a top brand…very sturdy. My suggestion is to read the manual thoroughly. When dealing with hard ingredients tlike ice cubes, the blades can “stick”. However, once you move things about with a wooden spoon it should get going again. You’ll get the hang of it the more you use it. Regarding the subject of ice cubes again, you might want to start out using smaller ice cubes from the beginning.
